History of Jakarta
Jakarta has been such a very popular city in Asia,although the name of Jakarta has been changed to different names through the time.Jakarta was formally called”Sunda Kelapa” as the bay of the Pajajaran Kingdom in 14th Century.It then changed to Jayakarta,by Fatahilah on June 22nd 1527,which then recognized as the anniversary of Jakarta until now.The first city government surrendered to the Japanese troops in 1942,the changed the city’s name into Jakarta Toko Bestu Shi.But since the Indonesian Proclamation in 1945,Jakarta was named The National Government of City Jakarta until August 31st,1946 it was officially named as Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta Raya City of Indonesia with the nama,Jakarta.
